Getting Started FAQs

Getting started is simple. You can contact our team via phone, email, or our website to discuss your needs. We will guide you to the most suitable service and practitioner based on your goals.

No referral is required for any of our services. However, you may be eligible for a Medicare rebate on dietitian services if you have a Chronic Condition Management Plan, Eating Disorder Management Plan, or Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Plan that includes a referral from your GP.

Our services are available to people of all ages and abilities, including private clients, NDIS participants, and those accessing Medicare or other funding options.

Yes. We support both children and adults across all services, with care tailored to individual needs and developmental stages.

If you are unsure, our team can help. We take a person-centred approach and will recommend services based on your goals, needs, and circumstances.

We provide services across Adelaide and surrounding areas, with multiple clinic locations and community-based supports available.

Yes. Telehealth is available for many services, allowing flexible access to support from home.

Yes. Our dietitian services may be partially covered under Medicare (with an eligible care plan) or private health insurance, depending on your individual coverage.

Our services are typically funded under Capacity Building and Core Supports, depending on your NDIS plan and the supports required.

Yes. We support self-managed, plan-managed, and NDIA-managed participants.

Yes. We can help you understand your plan, how your funding can be used, and align supports with your goals.

Support Coordination helps you understand and implement your NDIS plan, connect with providers, and build your capacity to manage supports independently.

You can contact us directly. We will guide you through accessing supports and using your NDIS funding.

Yes. We regularly collaborate with Support Coordinators, families, and other providers to ensure coordinated care.

We can help prioritise supports, adjust service frequency, or provide guidance for plan reviews where appropriate.

You can change providers at any time. We can assist with a smooth transition and onboarding process.

Nutrition & Dietetics

Dietitians provide evidence-based nutrition support to improve health, manage medical conditions, and support overall wellbeing. This includes personalised guidance, practical strategies, and tailored nutrition recommendations based on your individual needs, goals, and lifestyle.

Anyone can benefit, including people managing medical conditions, improving general health, building food skills, or requiring specialised nutrition support.

Yes. We provide feeding therapy for children and adults with sensory challenges, fussy eating, or feeding difficulties.

Yes. We support a wide range of conditions including diabetes, gastrointestinal conditions, food intolerances, allergies and more.

We provide personalised nutrition support, which may include meal planning, education, and practical strategies like cooking skills.

Yes. We offer nutrition education, group programs, workshops, and practical sessions such as cooking and supermarket tours.

Yes. We support a wide range of dietary preferences and requirements, ensuring nutritional balance and sustainability.

This depends on your goals and needs. Some people benefit from regular follow-ups (e.g. fortnightly or monthly), while others may only need occasional check-ins.
Behaviour Support

Behaviour support focuses on understanding behaviours of concern and improving quality of life through skill development and environmental strategies.

Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) is an evidence-based approach that focuses on understanding the reasons behind behaviours and building positive skills.

It is suitable for children and adults who experience behaviours that impact daily living, relationships, or participation.

The duration varies depending on individual goals, needs, and progress.
NDIS Supports / Daily Living

We provide supports such as personal care, daily routines, skill development, and assistance with everyday tasks.

Yes. We support social, recreational, and community engagement activities to build confidence and independence.

Transport may be available as part of community participation supports, depending on your plan and needs.

Support workers assist with developing life skills, routines, and confidence, helping participants increase independence over time.
Accommodation (SIL / Respite)

SIL provides support with daily tasks in a shared or individual living environment to help build independence.

Eligibility is determined by the NDIS based on your needs, goals, and assessment outcomes.

Yes. We offer short-term accommodation (respite) to support participants and their families.

Accommodation supports must be included in your NDIS plan. We can assist you in understanding and accessing this funding.

Appointments & Practical Information

You can book via phone, email, or through our website contact form.

Your first appointment involves getting to know you—your goals, health history, and current challenges. From there, your team member will provide guidance and discuss the next steps that best support your needs.

Please bring any relevant documents such as referrals, reports, NDIS plans, or medical information.

Yes. Home and community-based visits are available, particularly for NDIS participants, depending on location and service type.

Fees vary depending on the service and funding type. Please contact us for current pricing.

We require notice for cancellations. Late cancellations or missed appointments may incur a fee.

Yes. Telehealth is available for many services, providing flexible and accessible care.
